finally resurfaced...

hello... Yes I think I am back to the land of the living... still reading 100 degree temp but mobile now. I had never seen 104.6 temp in my entire sick life but last Saturday. And the worst part was there is nothing you can do but to ride the piggy fly. the best advice I got was from Ate Cora, drink airborne every 3 hours to break the flu and it did... wish I called her sooner!!! And how did I know I was really sick ??? I crank the heat up all the way to 80 and still cold. Hopefully I am ready to rid this piggy flu... all the food I prepare, shows I planned to watched were untouched. I hate Pigs!!!!

So if you ever encounter the Piggy flu...
hydrate... force yourself to drink..
airborne... every 3hours...
tylenol 650.... every 4 hours...
tamiflu... however your doctor prescribed it...
club soda... the bitterness reminds you you are still alive...lol
chamomile tea and honey... knocks you out

I wouldnt even wish this Piggy Flu to my worst enemy.... its that bad...

Hope all is well with everybody... have not been updating... no PC at home... and Camera Phone is not working as it is supposed to.

The date with the Knife is back on for December. Not sure what they plan to take out but it is really happening...

Mom is doing Ok so that is one thing I am very thankful about.

The leaves are now changing and N1H1 is causing havoc in the neighborhood.

As I was putting back all the stuff in the laundry cabinet. The vent needed repair and boy that was unexpected. $85 for the materials and $500 for the labor since they had to bring all these big heavy equipment to bore a hole in the wall. Not a happy camper right now but after contemplating how broke I was LOL I found this note. It was a note written by my dad 10 years ago. How crazy is that. Exactly 10 years ago and I found it yesterday!!! The very same date.

For the past few days/weeks I was wonderign if I was the only one who really have nothing to blog about. Life has been trekking slowly. They said once you are down there is no where to go but up... but I have been down here for awhile now.. still waiting and ready to go up...

Autumn is here soon it will be winter... Maybe by the year's end things will be looking up. I will be out of commision again for an upcoming surgery. Never get old !! Try to avoid it, by the time you reach that certain age everything needs repair! LOL

Hmmm this used to be a happening spot so I thought. Not much going on here in Pa. Just in between check ups. looking a few post back I had undergone myomectomy and it was a success. But now due to recurrence of the fibroid we are looking at an alternate method. This may be it!!! LOL Really dont want to go through another major surgeries the bills wont let me so hopefully we can find an easier solution which will not need more than 2 weeks of recupperation!

Mom is doing OK, just had an episode 2 weeks ago and thank God she is now OK. Still no major vacation planned hopefully by the time mom gets here again in October(that is if she dont changed her mind again and if you have Northwest Miles that you dont need donate it my way!!!Hugss)

Creative scheduling is the focus at work right now. We work when we are needed and we are sent home when we are not. I guess we dont have room to complain since we still have a place for employment. I just hope and pray that soon this will be over.

Turning green... so far I have seen fruits of my labor. No more bottled water turned to Purr and a reusable bottle to bring with me. Shops at the local produce to buy veggies. Does not hoard chicken and beef in the fridge. Everything were pulled out of the wall sucket and only the one lamp is plug in... for emergency purposes.
Again... it was all good.

Sink is still broke.. so what is new...

AC still broke thank God for cooler weather...

Bill collectors still busy calling... I am working on it I swear!

Check up appointments... on hold...

But the best part of all these.. is I have a Mother who loves me for who I am. New found friends (may it be few) who supports and understand and a job I still go to everytime they need me.

There are alot of blessings to thank for.

~ Saturday we had the funeral for Francis D. my co workers husband. Please continue including Denise in your prayers. Now she needs strenght to face what tomorrow brings for her. Hopefully with good friends supporting her she will come out of this dark cloud OK.

~ Also include in your prayers for Hal (a family friend of Sha ) and his Family for strenght also and peace in their hearts.

~ Sha Thank you for all your support, it means alot!

Yikes!! Due to an avoidable circumstances"faint" I was not connected for a couple of days and boy that was an ugly sight. Well now I am back let's see how long this last.

Today is my Uncle Ely's birthday.

The past few days was a "unexpected". For some reason it felt like it finally hit me about my dad and uncle which taught me a lesson... to take that day off. They say it gets better... I hope they know what they are talking about.

Nothing much to blog... life has been going.. still going... that's about it. Weather has been kind, no heat wave yet just plain gloominess in Pa.

The Weekend....

- what does it means??? you can't find anybody at home anymore... everybody's scrambling to go to work... if not working then it is for chores... forgotten chores... crazy chores... never ending chores...

- a time to have an excuse to drink and get hammered...

- a time where it can leave you depressed by the time it is over...

Perspective and direction...

- never take for granted "security"... make sure you put yourself first when it comes to security... dont let anything get in the way of your security not even love. What is love without security.

Regret...

- learn to accept it is OK to be sad and not be mad... what else can you do... shit happens!!!

- at one point you have bacon... now that you have nothing be thankful that at one point you know what a bacon taste like!!!

Bills...

- you toss and turn at night and morning comes... all you get are eyebags would be better if its money bags...

On thoughts...

- it will never have any rhyme no reasons! Never! Whats the next best thing to do??? Nothing...

Friends and Family...

- always have a moment to pray for a complete stranger. (Please include my friend Joe and his family in your thoughts today, To give his family strenght to face whatever health issues come their way.)

- pray for those who had pass... that they maybe in peace whereever they are, when you see a funeral parlor.. say a little prayer to those who had ones been a guest. To my dad who will be celebrating his one year of passing on June 23,2009. May he rest in peace.

- pray for your least favorite person, may it be your neighbor, your boss or the clerk at the drive through. They have problems too.
