Finally am connected again!!!
Yikes!! Due to an avoidable circumstances"faint" I was not connected for a couple of days and boy that was an ugly sight. Well now I am back let's see how long this last.
Today is my Uncle Ely's birthday.
The past few days was a "unexpected". For some reason it felt like it finally hit me about my dad and uncle which taught me a lesson... to take that day off. They say it gets better... I hope they know what they are talking about.
Nothing much to blog... life has been going.. still going... that's about it. Weather has been kind, no heat wave yet just plain gloominess in Pa.
Wishing everyone a safe Holiday.

random thoughts about...
The Weekend....
- what does it means??? you can't find anybody at home anymore... everybody's scrambling to go to work... if not working then it is for chores... forgotten chores... crazy chores... never ending chores...
- a time to have an excuse to drink and get hammered...
- a time where it can leave you depressed by the time it is over...
Perspective and direction...
- never take for granted "security"... make sure you put yourself first when it comes to security... dont let anything get in the way of your security not even love. What is love without security.
Regret...
- learn to accept it is OK to be sad and not be mad... what else can you do... shit happens!!!
- at one point you have bacon... now that you have nothing be thankful that at one point you know what a bacon taste like!!!
Bills...
- you toss and turn at night and morning comes... all you get are eyebags would be better if its money bags...
On thoughts...
- it will never have any rhyme no reasons! Never! Whats the next best thing to do??? Nothing...
Friends and Family...
- always have a moment to pray for a complete stranger. (Please include my friend Joe and his family in your thoughts today, To give his family strenght to face whatever health issues come their way.)
- pray for those who had pass... that they maybe in peace whereever they are, when you see a funeral parlor.. say a little prayer to those who had ones been a guest. To my dad who will be celebrating his one year of passing on June 23,2009. May he rest in peace.

random thoughts about vacations... how can we take one in this crazy econony...
- using coupons on your everyday shopping, you must know this already if you do then it is just a reminder. This days I don't buy anything without a coupon. And what ever the amount I save from coupons I still take it out of my debit card and deposit that in a savings account. Yes me... can you believe it I opened my 1st saving account.. not really opening since it is a benefit along side my checking acct. I am so thankful that I don't have the need to buy the Sunday news paper since everybody at work buys the news paper and we have a coupon drive ( a bin where everybody throws in there unwanted coupon) and every Monday I get to see what is there. Friends who knows me knows that I eat junk LOL which means most of the left over coupons are junk... Yey for me...
- buying no frills product... they are more improved than the new frills 10 years ago Thank God! Even Ibuprofen now taste and works the same (or maybe that is how one thinks and feels when they are broke LOL).
- the best part looking for bargains for vacation online... right now WDW is giving the free dining if you book by June 21st for 3 nights or more. Yes it does sound great... but I think this is beneficial for a family of 2 or more. IF you are traveling solo then you are paying regular room rates to get the free dining. Need to compare rates which is better... look for discounts like AAA, AP and pay for the room and just shop for food and also their is that avenue of renting points/timeshare week share.
- shed all unwanted expenses... don't rent a car (which I always do and next time I go when I go "sigh" I will def'ly learn the bus system thoroughly!)
- friends sometimes ask you what do you want for your bday, Xmas etc... don't hesitate to tell them what you prefer. I am sure not a lot of us know what to buy for gifts but instead hand them a gift card. In my opinion which you don't have to agree on... I prefer giving my friends "practical gift" cards like Starbucks(am working on giving this up but for now lets add to the practical list "guilty", Target, Walmart, Home Depot or for the grocery market near their area. Rather than buying them Red Lobsters and or any other restaurant chain. But then that is just me( plus I have missed so much occasion from my friends lives that all they have been getting are home made arts and crafts gifts and text messages... thank you for patience...).
- and last random thought for today... being broke gives you an excuse to go on a diet hahahaha

~ the weekend is almost over I hope everybody had a good mother's day!!!
~ did laundry, cleaned bathroom, vacuum, sat outside and chatted with new neighbors... Richard is only 4... my new buddy...
~ called mom and sound terrible...
~ not ready for Monday but who can stop Monday from coming...
~ Glad it is/was a cool day...
~ even without cable I can still access weather channel very clearly... hahahaha that's all you need!

April... came and went....
Random thoughts....
~ my deepest sympathy to the San Juan family... I am so sorry I will not make it Saturday (again!) but your family is in my thoughts and prayers...
~ I aged... I feel the aging process is catching up with me... aches and pains... stiff joints.. so what else is in store for me when I turn the big 40 ??? I am not looking forward to it...
~ mom is back home... still adjusting with everything... why can't I win the lottery... things will get in order and yes I will still have problems but atleast the finacial part will not be one of them... maybe the main problem will just be hmmm how to stay healthy ???
~ I am very thankful though... even though I know it feels like the weight of the whole basket is resting on my shoulder... someones shoulder has a bigger basket to "shoulder"... may they find the strength to face whatever kind of apples get thrown their way...
~ I thank God that I still have a job... our EMR is getting slower everyday... I hope and pray that the private and government sector finds a way to jump start our economy... if they dont have a job... there will be no benefits... if there will be no benefits nobody will have health insurances... if there is no health insurance we dont have anybody to do test on... then everybody will not have anything to do...
~ I think I am going to end up working on Memorial Day again... no I am not complaining just stating the facts...
~ Thankful that I found friends who are patient enough to hang out with me whenever I find it possible to hang out...
~ car needs to go for its check up... eventually...

random thoughts...
Spring is really here... I have not stopped sneezing.
I have been craving for Duck from China Town... preferably the one from Mott Street. Plus PF Chang took it out of its menu.
Taho... soy milk drink... that I want some of that too!!!
I realized I love eating ramen noodles the oncooked kind fresh from the bag... crazy!!!
I still have not done my taxes... still procrastinating... I dont know what I am scared of but I just cant get it done yet.
I miss my mom... I miss my dad...

Friday ~ doesnt really mean anything this days...
lunch... can't think of what to wait... I know I am going to end up with a cup of noodle soup... there's chicken but it is not cook... therer's veggies but they are not peeled... and there's rice but I put the rice cooker away... go figure...
bills... anybody ??? LOL
Weekend... supposed to be off... again... I chose not to be off... one day when I win the lottery I will not be working... for now I have to work...
mom... is still adjusting with her time.. soon it will be time to fly back and she will still be adjusting...
Prince Charming... they all turn into a frog ... eventually!!!
Sunday... I plan to sleep all day!!! And also clean the car and hopefully get to play outside too...

Woke up scared... scared that I might not get out of this black hole... scared that I might loose the roof over my head... scared that mom will be gone soon and I will be all alone...
lunch time ~ ate PBJ and bounced back... what happens happens... focus on the positive side... I am alive.. mom is alive... there is a roof over my head and heading to work...

diet... I need to start one ...

good deed... cant think of any... have not done a good deed today.. maybe later today...

Random thoughts...
In less that 48 hours spring will be here... Am I ready for spring??? The way my neighbors are acting up Spring have sprung already...
Every 72 hours I do laundry so I don't have to get buried with dirty clothes... since mom left I try to keep my small space as neat as she had left it. But there is no success with mail and or junk mail... as the day goes by they really are multiplying.
My co worker lend me a crock pot and I have been eating spaghetti since Saturday... I already fill like a meat ball. It is very convenient but how much spaghetti can you eat.
And what happen when Superman changes to his blue suit and cape does he go back to the phone booth to collect his regular outfit?
With the upcoming Stimulus Check... how do you plan to spend/use it... the way I understand it will come via payroll... that basically we are just getting a cut from Federal tax... so for the sake of argument if it trickles in your paycheck between some and dollars to alot... would you allocate a percentage to be taken out for saving or you would just leave it be and really not care where it goes.
Today I have been away from Mercy Hospital for a year... any changes in my life??? Not really... still going through alot of changes... and still praying that things will be ok tomorrow health wise.
It has been a couple of weeks that I have not seen Wynnewood Avenue.
What more will come my way... Whatever it is I hope I have the strenght to be ready for it.

Mom still have not adjusted to the time change. She is up with I am up and she is asleep when I am asleep even though she is 12 hours ahead of my time.
